I absolutely agree with school projects. I think it is the best form to learn because the children are the main responsible in their learning. The students set up a true relationship between learning at school and reality. They can improve their knowledge and skills. And you can see: the student motivation increases, bigger participation and availability in class, etc.

I did a culinary project in kindergarten when we were studying the different types of food and their origin. We had to cook. It was fantastic! And I am sure they will never forget that experience.

In this document we can find loads of ideas for older students, you can even adapt projects to use them with kids of different ages. 

English teacher

This is a crazy picture but real. Nowadays people have to study English very quickly to get their certificate but they are not really prepared to teach English well. Most of them are not good at languages and their students will learn bad English; however their headmaster forces them. It's a shame...So get ready to fight!

My best teacher

The person I have chosen worked as a teacher for small kids. She was an interesting person with a good sense of humour. She used to do funny lessons so we learnt a lot with her easily. She taught us to read! She really helped students who had difficulties. 

She was very charming, patient and loving. I hope to be the same type of teacher with the time.

I often remember her because she was a lovely person and she was passionated about her job. From my point of view, this is the most important thing!
